Italy has created another sublime cheese with a blend of goat and cow’s milk. After 6 months, they add malted barley and whiskey to the rind. The end result is a semi-firm cheese with those crunchy calcium lactate crystals with a sweet, rich, and toasted nutty flavor. A natural match for whiskey or a mal heavy beer.
